I can not express how important it is that you try this restaurant. The food is above par, the pho is the best in the National Capital Region. The owner is fantastic and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. Hands down, a do not want to miss!!!

Great place to stop in for Pho! Staff is really nice, easy going and helpful. The food is great. We had the shrimp spring rolls, Pho Ga and Cashew Chicken. Was a hit all around. Will be back.

This is by far the best Vietnamese resturant in Gatineau. Great people, good price, clean surroundings and the food is superb! Pho, vermicelli, you name... its authentic.

Not the best pho, ok for Gatineau I guess. They do not put all original ingredients (my partner is Vietnamese) he would definitely not be impressed with this place.

I've never been so impressed with a restaurant that I felt compelled to write a review, but Phoenix Du Vietnam surpasses all expectations. Don't be fooled by the exterior or location, this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the Ottawa region! It might be a little ways away from downtown, but its worth definitely the trip. They have the best pho and spring rolls I've ever had, and the prices really cannot be beat. If you want a low-key hidden gem, then you've definitely found it!

Food was ok but service was very slow. We had a big takeout order for 8 persons and we waited 90 minutes for our meals. Not happy at all

The food is amazing but the service is absolutely horrible. You call and place an order for take out and they tell you it will be ready in 30 minutes. You show up 30 minutes later and have to wait another hour. They're always short staffed and really should hire more help.

Food is incredible. Get the spring rolls. Get them. Get them. Trust me. Bring cash for tip. Maybe they accept debit tips by now. They don't deliver but you can call ahead & pickup. Calm place to sit and eat. They always treat me well

Best Vietnamese food I've had in the area, including Ottawa. Simple but clean furnishings on the inside. Their spring rolls arrived very hot and crisp and were accompanied by a generous amount of lettuce and mint leaves and shaved carrot. My particular favorite was the lemon grass chicken. I've ordered it twice now. Looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu. My only critisim is that the outside of the building is not very attractive, and because of the poor signage, you're likely to drive past it if you're going south on Greber. Otherwise it's now my current favorite. Easily beats any Hull/Gatineau Chinese restaurants for quality and flavour authenticity as well as as price. Even their take out is great.

One of my favorite restaurant period! If you are looking for exceptional food for a good price, this is the place to go. They have a HUGE menu and everything that I have tasted was awesome!

Our go-to spot for delicious pho in Gatineau. Whenever we go, this place is busy - for good reason! The decor is traditional Vietnamese - and cozy. If you’re lucky, you can get the “lovers’ nook” with romantic lighting 💕

Great tasting food. I had spring rolls and a hot and sour soup as appetizers, and a vermicelli with beef, chicken and vegetables as an entree. They all felt well prepared and not overly salty. The waiter was hilarious and kept us entertained with his loud but quirky personality. About the only knock I have is that the interior is really too dark (it's a common issue in most restaurants) and the place could use renovations as the decor and walls look dated or worn out. Other than that it's a great value and great food.

If u like oriental food, this is where u want to go. the restaurant itself is not perfect but the food is excellent and the staff is fast and attentive to your needs it is highly recommended.

I always come from Ottawa and I always order the two lunch specials beef and chicken and it's always amazing, hot and fresh... He granted me the lunch special even tho it was past lunch time out of generousity., very clean and delicious I highly recommend this place .
